My Role at Interlink Recruitment

I head up the Business Support and Paralegal offering here at Interlink Recruitment, covering everything from Legal Secretary, Reception, and Admin positions to Financial, Marketing, and Technical roles in law firms nationally. 

Why Recruitment?

I joined Interlink Recruitment as a Business Administrator Apprentice after completing my A Levels to provide admin support to our Recruitment Consultants, along with performing receptionist duties for the office as Front of House. After achieving a Distinction in Business Administration Level 3, I decided to use my developed knowledge of recruitment and administration to assist candidates with their careers. 

Coming from a retail background, I use my excellent customer service skills to develop lasting relationships with both candidates and clients, strategically assisting with their recruitment requirements. I blend my efficient nature, with my ability to listen and seek solutions to develop a great understanding of the needs of clients and candidates and I address this accordingly. I chose to pursue a career in recruitment here at Interlink due to considering myself a natural “people person” with a passion for helping people; my role as a Recruitment Consultant allows me to use those skills to assist individuals with finding their dream careers. 

Outside of Work

In my spare time, I developed an interest in running in the first COVID-19 lockdown, completing the Couch to 5K programme, and now regularly running at the gym. I have a senior Staffordshire Bull Terrier named Martin that I love taking on long walks when the weather allows it, especially now that we are limited in what we can do at this time. Interesting fact about me: I moved to the UK from Minnesota when I was nine, with most of my family members living in various states in the USA, I can’t wait to visit them when I next get a chance.
