My Role at Interlink Recruitment
Through studying for my degree in Marketing Management at Manchester Metropolitan University, I have gained an in-depth understanding of social media and its benefit to business when used effectively. I have also built a wide network of contacts in the marketing sector, gaining experience in multiple marketing agencies, creating a variety of marketing content for brands. At Interlink Recruitment my role is to increase the social presence of the company and help reach new clients, whilst maintaining relationships with those we have worked with in the past. This is developed both through social media strategies as well as wider multimedia planning designed to improve brand awareness and generate leads.
I chose to work for Interlink Recruitment due to the work culture and environment in which you are both supported in your development as well as rewarded for your hard work. I wanted to work in-house completing the marketing for a company, as it gives me the chance to gain a real understanding of the individual brand personality and make a big difference in their marketing activity. Since joining Interlink Recruitment, I have been fully involved in all aspects of marketing, giving me the opportunity to develop my skills to achieve the best results possible. It has been highly rewarding to see our brand awareness and engagement increase so far and I am determined to continue this development in the future.
Outside of Work
I am originally from Devon, and I joined Interlink Recruitment in January 2021 while studying for my degree in Marketing Management. Before studying marketing, I took a year out to travel for 6 months, around many countries including South East Asia, Australia and United States of America. This gave me the opportunity to immerse myself in a wide variety of cultures and undertake incredible experiences ranging from skydiving to snorkelling the Great Barrier Reef. Outside of work, I am always planning my next trip, bingeing Netflix series and socialising with my friends.
