My Role at Interlink Recruitment
I focus on senior level recruitment and the placement of Partners and Consultants, nationally and internationally, covering sectors such as Corporate, Commercial, Real Estate and FinTech.
I am also Head of Operations here at Interlink Recruitment, taking care of a broad spectrum of operational needs and challenges. In this area, my ability to think outside the box allows me to craft bespoke solutions to matters involving such areas of responsibility as IT infrastructure, including upgrade solutions, which help to facilitate our continued growth. I also assist with the management of all user platforms, with further involvement in the training and onboarding of new hires.
Before joining Interlink Recruitment in 2017, I was working as an in-house recruiter. Prior to that I spent a number of years working within a large national recruitment firm, exposing me to a spectrum of opportunities for professional self-development. That period equipped me with a relentless drive for continual improvement, which I now share with all of my colleagues on a daily basis.
I chose to move to Interlink Recruitment as I was captured by the culture and energy instilled from management, coupled with the synergy inter-woven between teams and colleagues; I knew this was my next home!
Prior to recruitment I had a spell in the army as a Kingsman in The Duke of Lancaster Regiment. This is where I developed my discipline, self-confidence and regimented approach to life which I still hold onto today.
Outside of Work
I like to spend a lot of my time in the wilderness:
Metal Detecting: On beaches or private land I love spending hours hunting for ‘treasure’, especially reuniting owners with their lost sentimental items.
Gold Prospecting/Wild Camping: I am attracted to the independence of going it alone, just you, your wits and an ambitious plan.
Magnet Fishing: With the River Irwell next to my apartment this is something I enjoy as you never know what you are going to pull out while also helping to clear out waterways.
One day I hope to have my own small-scale gold recovery operation. I clearly see this as my retirement plan and is the ultimate adventure on my bucket list. Until I get there, I have years of learning and growing to do. Hunting gold, game on!
